Your privacy is very important to us, we do all we can to protect your stored information from would be hackers aquiring it.

Should we encounter any problems we will contact you by way of the information you have provided. The call will originate from Streichs Cake and Candy. (pronounced Strikes). And the calling person will provide you with your order number in question, if one is provided. We will never call for any other purpose than to discuss current or outstanding orders.

Email questions will originate from any one of our servers. The email will be from kinzua.net or streichs.com. Our personel sending the emails are: sales, michele or sstreich. We use no other email addresses for correspondence.

We do not provide your information to any outside sources, all information is kept behind a dual firewalled system. When stored your information is broken down and coded then split stored on 3 seperate systems. Which only the system adminstrator has access to.

We own and maintain our own private servers, we do not use use any online services for our web-sites. Our private servers are accessible to only our system adminstrator. Access to our servers is limited to a direct line only we don't use any telnet or ftp programs, only nessecary ports are left open to allow emails and net access, all other ports are closed. Our logs are monitored numerous times throughout the day, and any unusual activity is immediately blacklisted. (we've accidently blocked ordering customers when they created a flag while browsing our system, mostly resulting from trying to many times to retrieve their own passwords).

Your credit card information is NEVER stored on our systems. We use ADC (Automatic Direct Connect) which ties a portion of the order form into our card processor. Only enough of the order form is tied to the Card Processor to aquire a charge authorization. (we only provide enough information to permit an authorize charge). Once your card information is submitted it is cleared from the ADC section of the form. We also limited the timed response from or card processor to 7 seconds. (if at any time it takes longer than 7 seconds to respond you card information is wiped (ADC disconnects) and an error message will appear that the transaction failed).
