NOTICE:: Chocolate Candy molds are NOT suitable for making
hard candy. You need Candy molds designed to hold the high temeratures of the
hard candy mixes.
Chocolate Candy Mold Quality : All of the Chocolate Candy molds we carry are quality molds from some of
the better well know manufacturers. They are all top quality molds and are never
less than 24ga FDA approved plastics. Our new patented EASY RELEASE plastic is made of 28 gauge ultra clear FDA approved material.

Extra large (molds with 300 in the sku) are not normally a stock item these may require a 7-10 day lead time.

Calculating Required Chocolate
Need to calculate how much Chocolate is required for a candy mold.
Using water is the easiest way to figure this, water weighs approx the same a
chocolate, or at least close enough where you can get a very acurate
measurement. If you have a set of scales that can re-zero put the mold on the
scales and fill the cavity with water, check the weight. If you get one of those
molds that don't sit well, put a empty container on the scales, re-zero the
scales, fill the cavity of the mold with water, dump it in the container and
check the weight.
We currently carry 2 different kinds of bag sealers, a great one for
sealing bags and suckers is our Tape Bag Sealer and for Heat sealing try
our 12" electric heat sealer.
For decorating the mold or the finished piece:
Mold Painters and Tube Candy Writers are great items
for decorating the mold and the finished products. The Mold Painters are little
plastic bottles that can use pastry decorating tips (any standard tube) for
designing, with these you can add your own candy colors to get the desired
effect. While with the Candy Writers the candy is already colored, you just
purchase one of the candy color choices.
