Our Ordering and Restocking Schedule:
Molds without a manufacturer ID number. Are ordered every Monday and usually available for shipment the following Thursday. ( Example: A103 does not contain a Manufacturer ID number while 7-AO95, 90-1112, 10-AO999, 14-553 all contain the Manufacturer ID number "7", "90", "10", "14") We do not have a set ordering time for these molds. We do average ordering from each of these Maunfacturers at least every other week or less.
As we run out of an item we place it on our restock board and as soon as the required minimum is reached to place an order we place it. (all of our suppliers require a minimum order).

Chocolate, Bags, Sticks, Boxes, Flavoring, Food items: Are ordered every other day except Friday. We normally have it available the following day if ordered in the AM. (seasonal and items out of stock by our suppliers may differ in ordering/shipping times).

Backordering

We try not to backorder items. However we do constantly run into this problem.

If an item is due to be restocked within 5 days of placing your order we will hold your order until the order is completed. If an item is not due in within the 5 days then we will normally ship your order as a partial order and ship the back order item(s) as they become available. There are cases where we may chose not to ship backorders, as in cases where you may have ordered multiples of the same item. (example: if you order 10 of an item and we have 7-8 of the item to ship we may not ship the balance of these items due to the cost of shipping). Other cases where we don't ship backorders is if a backorder item cannot not possibly get to you by the date required. (after the holiday). Exceptions: If you order an item for a holiday after the order cut off date for that holiday we will ship when it becomes available.

When shipping a backorder we do not charge any extra fees for processing, shipping, handling etc. The fees we incurr for processing anything additional such as CC fees, Transfer fees, printing lablels, postal pick-ups etc are not charged. What we do charge is Postage, Cost of the item(s) and cost of package if one is incurred.

(As an example: your original order consisted of 6 molds, we shipped 5 of the six, you would have been charged Priority Shipping, which included Postal fees, DC fees, Labeling and Terminal fees, Postal Pick up fees. The costs of your items, Handling fee which included CC and order processing costs we incur, When the final item is shipped, we would charge only the cost of the item and postage. (handling fee, postal pick up fees, Labeling and terminal fees, DC fees would not be charged).

Shipping Choices:

Our basic services are Priority Mail with the USPS and FedEx-Home delivery. Each order is checked for the best rates and services. If you select Priority Mail and we find Fedex offers a better rate then we may select to ship it FedEx.  We also look at the delivery times to areas, if a shipment is close in costs but takes longer going with another service then we will select the quicker service.

International shipments: We will not ship food items internationally. Our base choice for international is Global Priority. Due to the regulations and choices for international shipments. (some of our items are imported and must be handled differently then american made items) We do not show International shipment rates on the order form. International Shipments will be calculated and charged at the time we ship.

Shipping Questions we been asked about:
Q: Why did the shipping show so much on the check form and I was only charged $$$ when you shipped .
A: Each item is calculated for shipping as though it is being shipped by itself. Example: a one pound bag of Candy Melts actually weighs 16 ounces. (1-pound) but when shipping we have to add the weight of the box it's shipping in. So it calculates out as a one pound item plus the weight of the box which may show on the web site as being 1 pound 8 ounces. (1.8). So ordering 7 pounds will calculate as 12.6 (13 pounds) when checking out, but will ship for 8 pounds when actually shipping.       (follow up note: on check out your credit card was authorized for the full shipping charge, since we only do authorizations for charges at checkout time, we do the adjustments when we ship and capture the correct amount. The Auth_only method we use saves us from having to refunds when we ship. Example: On check out your total is $45.00, this is and authorization only, meaning a held is put on that amount and will be available when we do the capture after ship. If at ship time your total was $35.00 this is the amount we enter and capture and the balance is then released. Occasionally the amount is more this does not happen very often, but when it does we will normally do a follow up charge within 24 hours. And sometimes we will not charge the extra, this will occur when our costs of doing a second charge are more or equal to the additional amount.)

Q: The amount on my invoice stated Items total: $47.85 Shipping: $8.79 Handling: $0.75 for a Total of $57.39, But my card was only charged $56.53, will I ever see the difference charged .
A:  What happened was shipping on check out only showed $7.93, your card was authorized for only a total charge of $56.53. Therefore we would have had to do a second charge to make up the difference of $0.86, it wasn't worth the hazzle, by the time the CC companies got done with transaction charges, authorization charges, and so on we would have owed them more then we would have gotten back. So no you will never see this additional amount charged to you.

Q: I have order from you guys a number of times, each time there was a different handling charge. Why?
A: The handling charge is a receding amount, and based on the amount of the order. The more you ordered the less the handling charge. Anything over $50.00 in merchandise does not have a charge added. This is our default table rates for handling:
$0.01 to $14.99     Handling is $1.50 per order
$15.00 to $29.99         Handling is $1.15 per order
$30.00 to $49.99     Handling is $0.75 per order

$50.00 & Up

    Handling is $0.00 per order

Q: So what's with the handling charge, other site don't charge this.
A:  1. Other sites don't charge this: Surprise! check the prices per item, shipping charges etc. It's a cost of doing business and everyone has to charge it somewhere, it's just a matter of where others hide it. With us we show it to you up front!
      2. So what is it ? It covers charges we incurr such as FedEx fuel tax, (per package) costs of labeling packages, costs of printing services, weekly pick up fees from the post office and FEDEx, costs of making transactions, bank fees, credit card authorization and transaction fees, just all them nasty unseen charges we get hit with. The handling fee is based on a per order charge rather than a per item charge as we found this to be the best way to offer a larger savings to the customer. Since we only incurr these charges on a per order basis it works best to claculate them on a per order basis also. NOTE: Our costs of processing 1 order containing 1 item are about the same as processing 1 order with 50 items.
     3. So where's the savings doing this. On small orders of 1 or 3 items there are no savings to the customer, it's more expensive. The savings come in on orders where you purchase more than a couple items. In order to offset or "Hide" these fees we would need to increase prices by 20 to 50 cents per item. Require a minumn order, Or increase prices and then offer a discount on orders over a certain amount. See the following table for an example of how and where you save:

Our cost of item

Candy mold as example product

Costs of item marked up $0.30 (most other's charge more than this for these items)

Candy Mold as Example Product

Difference calculating Handling
1 item  @ 1.85 1 item @ 2.15 + $1.20
2 items @ 1.85 2 items @ 2.15 + $0.90
3 items @ 1.85 3 items @ 2.15 + $0.60
4 items @ 1.85 4 items @ 2.15 + $0.30
5 items @ 1.85 5 items @ 2.15 + $0.00
6 tems @ 1.85 6 items @ 2.15 - $0.30 (you're now saving)
30 items @ 1.85 (55.55) 30 items @ 2.15 (64.50) - $8.95 (remember no handling on orders over $49.99) You've now saved enough to cover any US shipping charges.

Other sites:

Save 10% on orders over 25.00

$55.55 times .90 (10%)=$49.99 savings of $5.56 This sums up why we chose the handling charge per order!

Q: Iwould like to add insurance on my order when shipped, how do I do this.
A: We don't make insurance mandatory, it's up to you if you wish to purchase it. The rates are for USPSM (postal service). Up to the first $50.00 the rate is $1.30. From 50.01 to $100.00 the rate is $2.30.  (FedEx offers the first $100.00 in value free, we do consider this when shipping). You can purchase insurance as a product by entering INS-50 for under $50.00 value or INS-100 for value up to $100 in our search boxes.  Or if you already have items in your cart and know the total order amount you can select it here and it will be added to your cart. INS-50  or  INS-100      You will need to do a "Recalculate" if on the order page.
