Bags in this Category are all made from Food Safe Poly (Polyethylene, PE) and are all 1.5 mil or heavier.

An economical bag for packaging food products.

To calculate the bag size required, figure your products width + 15-20%,  product height + 15-20%  plus add the room needed for the method of sealing. TwistTies, Ribbons and tapes usually require an additional 1-2/ to 2 inches.

For large quanties watch for "Val-Pak" these are some of the more popular sizes pre-packaged in larger quanties with big discounts.

For a 1/2 pound size: use 5 x 7 or 4 x 10

For a 1 pound size: use 5-1/2 x 9 or 6 x 9

For a 5 pound size: use 12 x 15

For a 10 pound size: use 12 x 24

Some of the larger sizes are sold by the single piece, discounts are applied for larger quanities.

Note: we do not reccomend the poly bags for Basket Bags, you want the cello style for this to aquire the quality.
